Korean Sticky Rice Cake

Chinese has many names too 


This sweet has many names and its Bel's favourit sweet / dessert depending on time of day, it is even her staple like breakfast.



* Ingredients (10-12 sticky rice cakes): - 200g of glutinous rice powder - 30g sugar - 230ml of water - 30g starch powder - 250g of red bean paste * Check out my last video "How to make Red Bean Paste" : https://youtu.be/uqcmL8KqCo0 * How to make : - Take the red bean paste and shape it into a ball - Pour 30g of sugar and 230ml of water into a bowl and mix well - Add 200g of glutinous rice powder and stir well until smooth - Cover plastic wrap and make holes with knife and microwave for 1 minute - Remove the wrap and mix thoroughly with a spatula - Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds - Remove the wrap and mix thoroughly with a spatula - Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds - Remove the wrap and mix thoroughly for 5 minutes - Sprinkle starch on a cutting board and place glutinous rice dough - Cover the dough with starch powder and cut into appropriate sizes - Spread the dough thinly and put red bean paste in it - Cover the rice cake with starch powder
