Nutty Crispy Florentine


I bought he forentine powder from Bake with Yen shop and must try this yummy and super easy recipe soon.

Method:

  1. Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Using sifter, spread the Florentine Mix on baking tray evenly.
  3. Spread the nuts and seeds evenly on top
  4. Spread some Florentine Mix on top the nuts and seeds.
  5. Preheat oven to 170 C and bake for 8-12 minutes until its turns golden brown.
  6. Cut into square while hot.


There are 3 recipes mentioned here but the last one is similar to the above.




  • 500 grams of Florentine Powder
  • 600 grams of nuts of choice ** (see note below)
*In this illustration, I have used 300 grams of sliced almond, 200 grams of pumpkin seeds, 100 grams of melon seeds and some sesame seeds
** Package instruction is using 500 grams of powder to 250 grams of nuts. Personally, i find that it will be too sweet plus lack of presentation, I have increased the nuts to more than double the stated quantities)
